PC and Nintendo cannot play together
The developer FAQ states that cross-platform play between PC and Switch is not currently supported. A Steam host therefore needs PC guests; a Nintendo player cannot join that same town from Switch.
No official page confirms cross-save or save transfer between PC and Nintendo. Treat those features as unavailable unless Prideful Sloth announces them.
What about PS5 and Xbox?
The post-launch roadmap places broader console expansion on the team’s radar, and the developer has discussed an interest in more console versions. This is not a release announcement.
Until an official platform holder store page or dated Prideful Sloth announcement exists, there is no confirmed PS5 or Xbox release date.
Where to buy the game
Use the Steam store for the Windows version and the Nintendo eShop for Switch or Switch 2. Prices and discounts vary by region and date, so a fixed price on an old guide can be wrong.
Go-Go Town! is a paid downloadable game. It is not an official browser game and there is no legitimate “play online free, no download” version.
