What changed in Version 1.0

  • A completed and reworked EGO Tech tree, economy, ranking challenges, tutorial, Town Hall, Rebuy, Imports, and Lost & Found.
  • Creative Mode for town building with fewer progression and economy constraints.
  • Treasure hunting and collections, Garbird rubbish pests, garages, and expanded off-road driving.
  • A formal achievement set with 56 Steam achievements at launch.
  • Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 releases alongside the PC full release.

Early Access saves do not load in 1.0

The 1.0 progression and data changes made Early Access saves incompatible with the current version. The developer says those old towns were not deleted.

On Steam, open the game’s Properties, choose Betas, and select the ggt_legacy branch to return to the compatible Early Access build. A legacy town does not become a 1.0 town; start a new save for current progression.

Launch hotfixes are still important

The developer released several hotfixes immediately after 1.0. By the research date, the latest Steam announcement was Hotfix 1.0.25992, addressing online synchronization and collisions, split screen, storage UI, treasure spawns, and worker pickup behavior.

When following an older workaround, check whether a newer official patch already fixed the issue. A bug report should include the platform, build number, host or guest status, game mode, and reproduction steps.

Does the roadmap confirm PS5 or Xbox?

No. More console versions are listed only on the unscheduled radar. There is no confirmed store page or release date.
